Pediatric Advanced Life Support
Service Description
The PALS course is designed to provide pediatric healthcare providers with the knowledge and skills necessary to efficiently and effectively manage critically ill infants and children and help improve outcomes. Exam: Upon completion of the Instructor-led Course, including all cognitive content and all hands-on skills practice and testing, students need to pass the 50 question final exam with a minimum score of 84%. Exam is open resources, which means you can use your book/eBook/notes. PreCourse Work (Required at Home): Online Pre-course work, must be done prior to in-person class through https://elearning.heart.org/course/1538 Successful completion of the PALS Pre-course Self-Assessment and Pre-course work and score of at least 70% before taking the PALS Course will result in a certificate and pre-test score. Print and bring in completed results with you on day of course. (If you do not have a printer, take a picture with your phone of results clearly showing your score and certificate) Current American Heart Association BLS for Healthcare Provider CPR card. If your BLS card is expired, you must complete the BLS course first. *PALS MANUAL IS REQUIRED FOR CLASS ( option to add it on at checkout for $20)

Cancellation Policy
All classes start on time. Students arriving 15 minutes or more after the scheduled start time may not be admitted and will be considered a no-show. Cancellations or reschedule requests must be made at least 24 hours prior to the scheduled class start time. • No refunds are issued for late arrivals, no-shows, or failure to complete course requirements. • Rescheduling requests must be made at least 24 hours in advance and are subject to availability. • Certification is issued only after successful completion of all course requirements, including skills testing and written exams where applicable. Minimum Enrollment Policy: Classes require a minimum number of participants to run. If minimum enrollment is not met, students will be automatically moved to the next available session. Students will be notified by email in advance and their payment will be applied to the rescheduled date. No additional fees will apply.
